Our Story
Rob Newbold and Bill Lynch start ProChain Solutions with the idea of creating software to improve the ability of project managers and project organizations to be successful; that is, to give them “agency.”
Our first software product, ProChain Project Scheduling, is released, shortly followed by a comprehensive training program. We hire our first employees.
Rob’s book Project Management in the Fast Lane is published by St. Lucie Press. We begin our first major Critical Chain implementation.
We dive into multi-project scheduling with the first release of ProChain Pipeline. We hold our first annual ProChain conference in Alexandria, Virginia.
ProChain Enterprise is released to provide organization-wide, cross-project connectivity.
The ProChain certification process is launched.
We sign our first major division-wide implementation agreements with a Fortune-100 medical device company and a Fortune-50 consumer products company.
We sign our first major company-wide Fortune-100 semiconductor implementation agreement.
We sign our first company-wide Fortune-200 pharmaceuticals implementation agreement.
ProChain Press is launched and publishes Rob Newbold’s The Billion Dollar Solution.
We re-think the Critical Chain approach and dramatically revise ProChain Project Management and ProChain Pipeline to improve usability.
ProChain Press publishes Be Fast or Be Gone by Andreas Scherer.
ProChain Press publishes The Project Manifesto by Rob Newbold and Bill Lynch. The book wins a Gold Medal in the 2015 Axiom Business Book Awards.
Quick Start program launched.
Work begins on the Fusion Suite as the next generation of ProChain Enterprise. ProChain Press publishes Islands of Stability by Rob Newbold.
Market introduction of ProChain Fusion. ProChain introduces its virtual network building process.
Work begins on the ProChain University basics program.
Version 15.0 of Fusion released to enhance agile support and incorporate more features from ProChain Project Scheduling. ProChain University basics program is made available to select users.
Version 15.2 of Fusion is released to allow full online customer account management. ProChain re-brands its software products as Fusion Online, Fusion Desktop, and Fusion Pipeline.
